THE ACADEMY OF BARBERING ARTS is a spacious 4,000 square foot, air conditioned modern facility with many features to benefit our staff and students. The Academy simulates salon conditions to help our students "learn-by-doing". There is modern equipment and a variety of supplies that help enhance the student's product knoweledge.
A student lounge is provided with eating area and rest areas. Each student is assigned a locker to keep his or her supplies and equipment. Our objective is to help the student to become "salon-ready".
Admission
At THE ACADEMY OF BARBERING ARTS, our primary objective is to offer training that prepares students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the California Bureau of Barbering/Cosmetology Licensing Exams.

We are located at 19557 Parthenia Street, Northridge, at the corner of Corbin next to Office Depot.
From the San Diego Freeway exit Roscoe and go west to Tampa Avenue the go north to Parthenia. Turn left on Parthenia. The Academy is on the right just before Corbin. From the Ventura Freeway exit Tampa Avenue an go north to Parthenia.
