Barber Course

Length		1500 clock hours
Course of Study		Technical instructional and practical operations covering all practices constituting the art of barbering. Educational Goals : The barbering course of study is designed to prepare students for the state licensing examination and for profitable employment as a Barber (D.O.T.#332.371-010,CIP#12.0402)
Required Classes		Hair cuts and Hair styles, Shaving, Rest Facials, Shampoos, Scalp Manipulations, Hair Waving and Curling, Hair Coloring/tinting, Hair processing and Relaxing.
Days & Hours		Classes are from 8:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M and 5:00P.M to 9:00P.M . Tuesday through Friday and on Saturday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. The Academy is closed on Sundays, Mondays and holidays. Appointments for Admission are available from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Tuesdaythrough Friday.

Barber Crossover Course For Cosmetologists
If you have cosmetologist's license but don't know how to cut men's hair, our CROSSOVER COURSE is just what you need. It covers technical instruction and practice operations of barber practices that are not a part of the required training or practice of a cosmetologist.

Length		400 clock hours
Course of Study		Technical instructional and practical operations covering those barber practices that are not a part of the required training or practice of a cosmetologist. The barbering course of study is designed to prepare students for the state licensing examination and for profitable employment as a Barber (D.O.T.#332.371-010,CIP#12.0402)

Instuctor Trainee Course
The Instructor Trainee Course consist of six hundred clock hours of technical instructional and practical operation. It Covers all aspects of teaching. The Educational goals are to prepare students for the state licensing examination and for profitable employment as Instructor Trainees.

Required Classes		Hair cuts and Hair styles, Shaving, Rest Facials, Shampoos, Scalp Manipulations, Hair Waving and Curling, Hair Coloring/tinting, Hair processing and Relaxing.
